The above mobility data uses public Tweets to gather geolocation data of users to see how people are socially distancing after the March 16th guidelines announced nationally by the White House. Above graph shows the difference in the average movement in a given week before and after the social distancing guidelines due to COVID-19. On average, there is a 54.97% reduction in movement within the United States, sampled by Tweets from public Twitter users.
